Ripped-acid wash denim
Fashion designer de jour Christophe Decarnin for Parisian label Balmain sent a troop of models down his spring/summer 2009 runway in stone-washed ripped jeans. And the A-list recognised quickly that the fastest way to look fashionable next season is to start wearing their denim ripped now, well before spring makes it's first appearance. I reckon we should embrace and take the style cues from the stars, as well as from the designers by slashing our jeans too. All too easy!
